Pilots Golf Classic

Want to have fun and support LSUS too? Sponsor a team, or volunteer at the Pilots Golf Classic! Golf Tournament

The Pilots Classic is one of the Alumni Association's major fundraisers. In the thirteen years since the tournament's inception in 1999, it has raised more than $195,000 for scholarships, programs, projects and services that benefit LSUS. The 2011 tournament cleared $20,550.

THE 2012 PILOTS GOLF CLASSIC IS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, MAY 4, 2012 AT OLDE OAKS, a premier course on the Audubon Golf Trail. The tournament features an 11:00 a.m. "shotgun start" and a number of contests. CLICK HERE for more information about sponsoring a team or volunteering. Greens fees, carts, driving range practice, putting contest, closest to the pin contest, hole in one contest, mulligans, beverages, snacks, lunch, dinner and great prizes are included in the sponsorship fee.

Sponsorships range from a $250 Fairway Sponsorship (course signage and media mentions) to the $700 Titanium Sponsorship (one 4-person team plus course signage and media mentions) to the $3500 Diamond Sponsorship (two, 4-person teams plus course signage, media mentions, and contest-naming).

The 2011 tournament was held Friday, May 6 at Olde Oaks Golf Club in Haughton, LA. It was a perfect day for golf, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 85 degrees.
